Teleconferencing and videoconferencing are hot topics in today’s environment. Legal professionals are using this form of communication now more than ever, which heightens the exposure to cybersecurity threats. “User hygiene” should be top-of-mind to ensure that mediations and arbitrations are not subject to attack by hackers.

The program will provide a comprehensive overview to virtual mediation and arbitration, including guidelines and protocols regarding cybersecurity for virtual hearings, and a review of available technology and choice of platforms.

NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) has been awarded a contract to serve as the administrator for the resolution of complaints regarding violations of Title III of The Help America Vote Act (“HAVA”) for the New York State Board of Elections (“NYSBOE”).
