Rossi, Esq. has been invited to present a 60-minute CLE seminar entitled, Alternative Dispute Resolution: Best Practices and Tips, to the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn.  The presentation will be held at the Marco Polo Restaurant, 345 Court Street, Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday, March 5th at 8:00 p.m.

Considering the time, expense, and uncertainty of litigating in the court systems in the United States, Alternative Dispute Resolution has become an effective and a preferred alternative to litigation.  ADR has progressed from an experimental  movement to a revolution of remarkable success.  The issue is no longer whether to use ADR but rather at what point in a case should it be utilized.   Mr. Rossi's seminar will focus on the benefits of ADR and the fundamental concepts of achieving success through the mediation and arbitration process.

About NAM's Presenter
Michael Rossi is a longtime proponent of  ADR, and as a neutral, approaches each side fairly and objectively, with the keen ability to bring parties together. He began his career at the New York City Corporation Counsel, Tort Division, and soon thereafter became trial counsel to the defense bar and subsequently a partner in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm handling all trials and litigation. Throughout his career he has handled in excess of one thousand matters, and has tried and litigated a diverse caseload involving areas of construction, premises liability, labor law, auto, product liability and medical malpractice from inception through trial. Mr. Rossi has also served as a mediator in the Nassau County Supreme Court handling cases including negligence, personal injury, construction, insurance, municipal and contracts – both commercial and real property.  He can quickly evaluate a case, astutely assess relevant issues, and effectively guide the parties and counsel to a fair and impartial resolution.  Mr. Rossi, was voted a Top Ten Arbitrator in New York State in the 2016 and 2017 New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey and Top Ten Arbitrator  in the state in the 2017 New York Law Journal Survey.
