New York, NY (January 23, 2018) – Susan Hernandez, Esq. has been invited to present a 60-minute CLE seminar entitled Alternative Dispute Resolution: A Guide to Mediation to the law firm of London Fischer LLP on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The presentation will be held at 59 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038.
Ms. Hernandez's seminar will focus on the benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the fundamental concepts of achieving success through the mediation process. Regardless of whether a practice specializes in personal injury, commercial, employment or other matters, Ms. Hernandez will present how ADR can quickly and efficiently bring about a resolution, saving time, costs and avoid the uncertainty of litigation. Topics will include:
• When to us ADR
• Ways to maximize the success of the mediation
• Preparing for the mediation
• The facilitative and evaluative role of the mediator
• The use of joint and break-out sessions
• What to do when the parties reach an impasse
• Drafting the post-mediation agreement and strategies for resolving a case utilizing ADR
