NAM PRESENTS: INSIDE THE MIND OF A MEDIATOR: AVOIDING IMPASSE AND MAXIMIZING OUTCOMES IN MEDIATION
New York, NY (March 19, 2019) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation's leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, is pleased to announce that Hon. John P. DiBlasi and Richard P. Byrne, Esq. will present a 90-minute CLE seminar, Inside the Mind of a Mediator: Avoiding Impasse and Maximizing Outcomes in Mediation, to the law firm of Pryor Cashman LLP. The presentation will be held at the offices of Pryor Cashman, 7 Times Square, New York, NY, on Wednesday, March 20th at 12:30 p.m.
Although mediation resolves most disputes, some mediations end in impasse. Such disappointments can usually be avoided, and positive resolutions achieved, when advocates are armed with knowledge of common mediation pitfalls and develop negotiation skills that can enhance mediation outcomes. Judge DiBlasi and Mr. Byrne will address how appropriate preparation, smart brief-craft, and thoughtful strategies during the mediation session — focused on the purpose, logistics and goals for the session — can not only reduce the potential for failure but maximize results.
NAM's Mediators will be joined on the panel by Steven M. Rabinowitz, Esq., a Partner at Pryor Cashman, who will serve as the moderator for this compelling Continuing Legal Education seminar.
