(Moderator), Chief International Counsel, Fidelity National Financial, for a live CLE webinar entitled Mediation and Negotiation in a Virtual World: Ethics, Technology and Best Practices. This complimentary presentation will be held on Wednesday, August 10th at 9:00 a.m. ET

The panel will discuss the new realities being faced by lawyers and clients and tips on how to negotiate and mediate in a new world where technology has taken control and the legal community has had to adapt.

NAM is an accredited provider of CLE credit in New York, approved for traditional live-classroom format, as well as webinars.  This course is approved for experienced and newly admitted attorneys.  Attorneys will receive ½ credit in Ethics and ½ credit in Professional Practice. Meet the Presenters

Judge DiBlasi is the former presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. During his illustrious career, he has arbitrated and mediated more than 3,000 cases with an ADR practice that focuses on resolving commercial, international, finance, employment, entertainment, land use, and professional malpractice matters. In 2022, for the ninth year in a row, Judge DiBlasi was ranked a Top Three Mediator in the United States by the National Law Journal Best Of Survey. Furthermore, in 2021, he was voted a Top Ten Mediator in the New York Law Journal Best Of Survey, for the twelfth consecutive year. 

Ms. McKenna is Managing Partner at Fox Rothschild, Philadelphia Office. She focuses her practice on resolving sophisticated business disputes and litigation, particularly in the insurance, health, real estate, and flood industries. She regularly appears in state and federal courts across the United States and has earned a reputation for sound judgment and innovative problem solving. Ms. McKenna is well-known among lenders and flood zone determination companies, routinely defending them in matters involving claims brought in connection with the 1973 Flood Disaster Protection Act and the 1994 National Flood Insurance Reform Act. She serves as national counsel for one of the flood determination industry's largest companies and regularly represents others in the industry on matters of importance. Lauren also frequently writes and speaks on federal, state and local legislation and other topics impacting the flood industry.

Mr. Rivera is a well-known figure in the U.S. in-house legal market. He is chief international counsel for Fidelity National Financial – a Fortune 500 company that provides insurance, claims management services, real estate solutions and information services. Mr. Rivera manages all of Fidelity's corporate and litigation matters outside of the U.S. and has had a particular focus on Latin America in recent years. Mr. Rivera's understanding of global businesses has allowed him to oversee Fidelity's international expansion – at one point coordinating attorneys in 34 countries to ensure insurance policies in each country were issued correctly. He has held a number of wider roles within the in-house legal community, including at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) as the International Committee President and as a member of the Global Board of Directors.
